Hydro Colon Wash
Colon wash or cleansing therapy is a health promoting preventive procedure. It washes out the pasty coating of faecal remnants over the large intestine, using a special device called “HYDRO COLON CLEANSOR” a german made machine. Mineral water and ozonated water are used alternatively for cleansing purpose.
Taking purgatives and giving enema will not remove the pasty faccal coating over the inner layer of large intestine. And they are temporary measures for constipation.
Procedure:
The person is asked to lie on the couch in a semi supine position. The therapist inserts a sterile, disposable, special two way cannula after applying local anesthetic gel to avoid mild pain in anus. The machine is connected via a hose to the cannula through which mineral water and ozonated water are sent alternatively into the large intestine. It promotes mild contraction of large intestine and inturn will remove the faecal matter and the retained pasty coating over the inner layer of large intestine through another hose in the via the machine. This procedure lasts for 30-45 minutes and the whole procedure is a smooth and painless large intestine irrigation.
